Default Who makes the best octave electric mandolins? (5-strings)

Looking for an instrument of high quality and impeccable attention to detail. Solid body, 22 frets, 18.5"-20.5" scale, customizable electric pickups, ebony fingerboard, possibly a v-neck, soft rolled edges on the fingerboard sides, great tone, nice feel and playability that "feels like home", and something I want to keep forever that looks cool and classy. I don't like the mandolins that look like mini fenders or mini les pauls.
    Thoughts?

    Thanks

Jonathan Mann or John Taggart are the first US builders that come to mind to check out. Otherwise Andrew Jerman or John Mixson may be able to help.
I have toured with Mr Taggart, a great guy and makes some amazing instruments. Immeasurable enthusiasm for building and impeccable quality.
Hereby & forthwith, any instrument with an odd number of strings shall be considered broken. With regard to mix levels, usually the best approach is treating the mandolin the same as a cowbell.

Good suggestions so far. I'd say Steve Ryder's EOM-45 is worth taking a look at also.

Thank you both for your suggestions. Does anyone else have an opinion?

I love my "large bodied Irish bouzouki" (which is essentially an octave) by Heiner Dreizehnter. http://www.acoustic-guitars.de/index.php/irish-family (Bazouki L).
