Maybe someone could come up with a pick tether, like the ones they make to keep you from losing the lens cap to your camera![]()

I found it, and I'm holding it for ransom. Just kidding! Wish I could find one.........
I keep mine in the guitar strings, in the case when not in use. Works every time, simple huh?

I feel your pain. I lost mine in John Hamlett's shop a couple of weeks ago. Luckily, he found it, and I was able to avoid purchasing yet another one. Wasn't so lucky with the previous TAD-1R 60, but I just know that it's in this house somewhere! I feel pretty confident it'll turn up when I eventually move some day.![]()

Time to upgrade to one of these. They are made from meteorites that are 4 billion years old. Only $4,674.00 each.

Sorry for your loss!
I can only imagine the sorrow as I'm bummed that I lost my "good" 89¢ Golden Gate and the bevels were getting worn just right. Idk why but I just loved that pick.
I'm going to order myself a blue chip this week. Excellent picks.
$35 gets a half-gross of Fender Xtra Heavy, too.. then losing one is an 'n/m'.

I did the same thing 2 weeks ago. Pick was in one of those leather pick pouches with the snap. Lost the whole thing! I figure that I won't find it till I buy another one. That's what usually happens.

My condolences for your loss. May time and a $35 debit from your PayPal account sooth your grief.
If you notice, when you lose something and then find it, it will always be in the last place you looked for it! I'm just sayin'!

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. I WILL learn to play this thing !(adapted from Coolidge)
The rug in my home office/cave where I practice is black/brick/orange/rust colored leaves and flowers. I can drop a BC on it and look for an hour before I see it.
My condolences....like any valuable asset, they (assuming you have more than one) should be kept separately so losing one doesn't wipe you out. But terzinator is right about looking for them: for $35, you'd think Matt could put some glitter in the material - something to help us see them![]()

I'm thinking if RFID chips get small enough, he could offer them as an option and maybe you could track your BC on your iphone.
Those chips above are inside the "D" mint mark on a penny.
He's right about those rfid chips.
I was thinking he should get into the "service agreement" business, and sell a replacement contract for an additional $5 with each pick. The TV and electronics guys get rich on those deals, Matthew could prolly make out well.![]()
Striving for mediocrity and perpetually falling short.
those service-agreement contracts might work if he required you to send the unworking pick back!
If he had to send you a new one just for losing yours, well, I'm guessing he'd start to see the flaws in that logic.
I've never lost a BC pick, but I did lose a tortoise shell pick once back in the mid 80's...

Maybe a serial number should be engraved on each BC or a phone number!![]()
My two favorite pastimes are drinking wine and playing the mandolin but most of my friends would rather hear me drink wine!Adapted from quote by Mark Twain
My dogs have tags with my cell number -- I might also engrave on it "Reward offered".

Thanks for delivering me from the sin of envy towards BC owners
But seriously, any loss is bad and I am sorry for you. OTOH, worse things happen - you did not leave your wallet on the roof of your car at the filling station and drove away, so just be glad.
