    argghh, i need the tabs. ive been trying to find them everywhere and cant. anyone know where i can find them?

    I found it on Mandozine. Here is the search page:

    Just tap in "butterfly" and it will bring up the Thile version.

    Just have to say, I LOVE that song. I know we have all gotten into the whole Thile good/bad argument, but that song is just neat!

    Phish, try buying the Chris Thle instruction video for about 25 bucks. It not only has the tab, but also has a very up-close-and-personal view of Chris playing it both slow and fast. It also has the same view of him playing 'When Mandolins Dream' which is to Butterfly as a Mercedes is to a Kia. Not that a Kia is bad...it costs the same as a good mandolin and will get you somewhere a lot quicker. I think...
