Default I fixed my Godin A8 Mandolin myself with two flat washers

I did a search and found past posts where older Godin A8s had problems with there necks needing shims one person put flat washers so I took off the neck and put one washer between the two back screws and neck and it is perfect now

Yeah, that's a good fix. The new A8's have a height adjustable bridge so obviously it was an issue they finally got around to addressing.

Fixed mine by folding over some aluminum foil after finding a folded piece of sandpaper under the neck. Made the foil a little thicker than the sand paper was. The adjustable bridge was the only change/improvements I think was needed to these beautiful instruments, glad they did it.

+1 Yeah these are wonderful Mandolins I did find some sandpaper under the neck too, but the two flat washers worked great for proper alignment for the string action and ease of playing
