Hello,i live in Portugal. How can i get a scholarship for traditional music mandolin course? Does it exists? And is it teached at graduation level?
I don't know where to search. I would like to find in Ireland or UK or in USA...

Hello Luis,

I know of at least two scholarship programs for mandolin courses that include traditional music. One is through the Co-Mando email list. There is a link on the home page of this website to sign up for that list. The group sends at least one and perhaps two or three people each year to the Steve Kaufman Mandolin Kamp, in Tennessee. You have to submit an application and a sampe of your playing.

The other one, which I know less about, is through this website. I believe at least last year Mandolin Cafe was involved in scholarships for the Mandolin Symposium, which I believe was held in California.
