    Default Kenny Baker's mandolin recording

I remember reading an interview with Kenny Baker where reference was made to a swing mandolin recording he had done. I think the interview was in Mandocrucian's Digest in the 70's, but I seem to have misplaced the Digests--hopefully Niles will chime in and confirm if it was his interview.

The recording was done under the stipulation that it could never be released as long as Bill Monroe was alive. I had a nice visit with Kenny Baker in NC in the early 90's where he was appearing with Josh Graves. I asked about and Kenny confirmed the recording and the stipulation, though he did not identify the record company. I also asked would he consider letting it be released now that he wasn't working with Monroe any longer. He replied "nope, a deal's a deal".

Hopefully Niles or someone else knows more about the recording--would love for it to be released!!
