Gosh, I like it!![]()
Very cool. Where do you get something like that? Aren't they made in New Zealand, or something? Have never seen one for sale here.
Chief. Way up North. Gibson 1917 A model. JL Smith 5 string electric(Seafoam). JL Smith 5 string electric(black). 1929 National Triolian resonator mandolin. 1935 Dobro resonator mandolin. Harmony Batwing electric. Bacorn 8 string electric mandolin. 60s' Kay archtop electric. 1932 National electric mandolin.
Hoepfully that puddle was there before you parked the car. And even more hopeful that you don't have a trans cooler mounted in that area.
Either way, nice ride and really cool Bel.
Gunga......Gunga.....Gu-Lunga
Goes nice with the Cobra, where's the female instrument stand ?!
Is that a larger cone that the silver one pictured in the Tone Poems album ?
Looks like a different coverplate for sure.
I'd never heard of Beltona until today, when a friend in Europe said he was likely to put one up on the Classifieds this week. Don't know what colour it is, though.
Goes well with the car!

Any chance of hearing a soundclip? He's a great maker, and fixed up my beautiful National tricone tenor when UPS smashed the neck off it when it was sent over from Gruhns (Gruhns had packed it immaculately I hasten to say) - Steve did a truly fabulous job, and was a splendid fellow to meet. I'd love to hear what his mandos are like - its not metal is it - carbon fibre - something else, and, yes, same question - how big is the cone - 6 or 9 inches or something else??
Enjoy it! Its smart!

Hi Chief, Steve Evans makes them in New Zealand. His website is http://www.beltona.net/nav/welcome.htm he can do them in any color, as the body is painted. I'm thinking about having him do a guitar in one of the Dupont Chromalusion colors.
Now you need a black Mix to match the Charger.
