    Which model for a 1995 Gibson A5G? Highprofile or Lowprofile?

    Every instrument varies. You should put a straight edge down the center, long enough to extend the length of the fingerboard and out over the bridge area... measure straight down and that will give you the height of the bridge for the d and a strings, minus about 1/8" additional height that you need to get the strings up. It's best to get a bridge that can go a bit lower than that, to give you room to adjust both up and down. The important things are to allow adjustment both ways but try to end up with the top section of the bridge raised up no higher than is "reasonable" ...hopefuly who ever your buying it from can help you

    Thanks, I'm ordering from Elderly, I went with the highprofile, figured I can always remove wood from a bridge that's a bit high.
