Music dots and dashes....used to "express" when writting music...
I like to noodle around writting my own tunes or writting the tablature for tunes I like but can't get tabs or notation for. In doing this I also use my own weird set of squiggly lines and dots and dashes and so forth to "express" for instance a hammer-on or pull-off or slide, etc. That's about as clear as I can get I think without getting way odd so if you can understand the previous what I'm looking for is a "proper" list of the abreviations with their definitions that are used in music theory to again "express" the parts that need to be "expressed" when writting music. Can anyone help me out on this? I mean, my stuff is simple and okay for my use but if someone else got my page, well, you get the picture I think....dgg
