    Default Ungluing pieces

    Hey all

I just started building an octave mandolin and I ran into a problem. I was working at night and accidentally glued the side ribs on upside down. I need to unglue these pieces from the joint and swap them. I used Titebond wood glue as recommended by others. Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Bruno

    Heat.
Titebond is actually fairly easy to release using heat, dry heat or steam will do the trick.
Heat gun, heat lamp, whatever, and work a thin blade (putty knife) into the joint.
