    Not so fast...Sounds like Sammy to me. Just the phrasing and the tickles of the part. Could be wrong but Ive heard him use the same stuff on another country track in the same key. It was Keith Whitleys and Earl Thomas Conleys "Brotherly Love"

    It was a pretty complete discography. Besides, my comment was not about the mando playing but the eminent forgettability of the song itself.

    Aubry Haynie is listed as one of the fiddle players; he's a good mandolin player, could well have "doubled."

    My computer speakers aren't good enough to give me a decent perspective on the mandolin part, though.
