New CD from Northside Southpaws

The Northside Southpaws, a Chicago North side left handed mandolin and guitar duo, released a new a CD of Old Time Mandolin Music titled "No Bread".

Great tune selection and playing. I highly recommend the CD. The tunes are based on 78 recordings mostly from the early part of the 20th century. The newest tune on the CD is the Armstrong Brothers' 1948 Mandolin Rag. Several selections are from one of my favorite OTM mando stringbands, the Scottdale String Band.

I wish they'd get some fo these to CDbaby, Elderly, offer downloads at eMusic, etc. On their website they ask for a check sent to them. What's a check? LOL
