    Default Weber Customer Service

Some of you may remember my Weber had a problem with the neck.

I received my new mandolin today and it is just incredible.

In this day and age where customer service means being transfer to a off shore call center or being sent to the FAQ fix it yourself website. It is refreshing that there are companies that still stand behind there product not behind a lawyer. Bruce & Mary Weber run that kind of company, they stand behind there product. It is quite a surprise when you answer the cell phone and it is Bruce Weber on the line.I dont think it gets any better than that. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

Thanks Again Brett, Tony, Joann, Cameron, Mary & Bruce

Enjoy your new instrument and please post some photos.

As an aside, many people use their signature space to list instruments they have. I don't see this as a bragging display, rather I see it as lending credence to their posts on other instruments (that the often own or have owned).

Ditto on the Weber guys. Just got a custom vintage F mandocello (the better to annoy more people with) and they were superb to work with. They emailed photos of wood choices for the back and sides, did a bunch of little extra stuff, and it sounds just monstrous. I will always stand by them in the "bang for the buck" category.

Glad it was the same good experience other Weber owners have had. I experienced the same personal, quality customer service all the way throughout the build process (with update photos, email status, etc), delivery, and advice on how best to repair a small ding I put it. I do appreciate you posting to let us know how you came out. They really are just fine honest folks that build a fantastic mandolin at a reasonable price. NFI

One of the main things that Weber is noted for, other than their fine instruments,is second-to-none,1st class De-Luxe, customer service.
I had a high action problem with an "A" style Weber 'Beartooth' (which turned out to have a warped neck). Anyway,i contacted Weber over the Internet & received a brand new bridge, made to the height that i required, free of charge. As it turned out,it only highlighted the more serious problem & me & the Mandolin parted company, but for service,Weber are excellent !!,

Weber's customer service is outstanding. I once had a broken screw head on a tailpiece, Tony sent out replacement more replacement screws then I needed, within a day.

    Great company to deal with......

As for finish work, I love the "Double Stain" work, as well as the Distressing that Brett Byers does. He is very responsive, if you contact him as well.

Again.....great company......very glad things worked out.
One day I'll stop all this crazy buyin', practicin', and playin'........course I'll be dead.......

    Ok, here goes:

    1960 Guild D25M
1965 Guild Thinline Hollow Body Electric, I forget the model number.
    Rover RM50
    Yamaha cheesy electronic keyboard
Marine Band Harmonica, key of C. Don't play it much due to asthma.
Unplayable Yamaha acoustic (warped neck), probably from the 70s.
    Egg (the kind you shake).

    So . . . how's my credence?

You were doing okay up to the shaker egg. Some things should just go unmentioned...

Nick, thanks for posting...it's always great to hear such experiences, and it's something I take into account when I'm buying anything more than a couple hundred dollars. I love my Bozeman made flatiron pancake and hope to play a few webers this weekend!
