Larry Nixon added his talents to the pool of musicians playing a benefit for Jan (pronounced Yahn) Johansson to help defray the costs of a heart transplant. You may not be familiar with Jan, but if you follow acoustic music in the Triangle area, I'm sure you''ve heard his influence. Mandolin Orange, The Hotwires, Chatham County Line and The Tims Family are just a few of the bands that have been touched, taught and befrended by Jan.
