I did not receive a Spring or Fall issue. We have sent two emails and placed one phone call. To date I have not received a reply. Does anyone have any information? Would appreciate any assistance ?

    Thanks,

    Sully

Just curious if you have moved. I did and didn't receive an issue, even though change of address cards were sent to publishers, among others. Several emails later, I FINALLY got an answer from the publisher, Ms. Holton. I found her unhelpful, unapologetic and unwilling to send me the issue I never received. A convincing email from me got my copy, but I never re-upped my subscription. And I never will.

While phone calls are more expensive they seem to be more productive than email. After moving I had an issue not arrive and when I called she offered to send an additional copy free of charge (which I received shortly thereafter and all future issues have arrived w/o problem). I think early evening (EDT) might have a better chance of catching her than normal work hours (she seems to take a while to go through her voice mail). While I admit it is somewhat expensive for 4 issues a year, it's one of the few publications dedicated to our personal addiction so I guess I'll continue it.

The publisher of Mandoline Magazine has not responded to my email concerning lack of delivery of the Summer and Fall issues. I will continue to email her daily regarding this matter and I will continue to post the results here on Mandoline Cafe.

I have not moved. I just have not received the last two issues.

Why don't you folks let me intervene for you. I love Ginny and the work she does, but have noticed she isn't very good about returning emails. The issue with her seems to be workload. She really does put out that magazine almost entirely by herself minus some of the writing which is a tremendous effort and begs for burnout. That's no excuse for not providing service as note above, but just some backgroun. I'll contact everyone that still has an issue here privately so I can attempt to get some resolution on this.

Thank you Scott. I appreciate what you are doing. I agree that Mandolin Magazine is wonderful and that is precisely why I want to receive all of the issues! Ginny should understand that a subscriber who will continue indefinitely to reorder is money in the bank!!

I guess asking MM for MP3's of the transcribed songs would be a waste of time. I personally find it tedious to work on a song that I may or may not like. Just another wish to the list.

We moved a few months ago and I e-mailed Ginny with our change of address and I never missed an issue. #I've talked with her on the phone before and always found her to be very helpful and kind. #

The other day I received both Mandolin Magazine and Mandolin Quartely on the same day...now that's a GREAT mandolin day!

Thanks for the one-der-ful magazine, Ginny!
