Re: Expert question: Does someone knows what kind of Mandolin thi
It's a copy of a 1920s Calace mandolin. Calaces of this period had this very distinctive Art Nouveau type decoration with the D-shaped soundhole, block inlay fret markers and the strange two little holes next to the bridge (nobody now knows why they were there). If it were a real Calace, it would be worth around 1500 to 2000 Euro in good playable condition. However, yours looks a bit too crude to be from the Calace shop, and as there were loads of imitators, I think it's safe to assume it's a copy unless there is a maker's label inside. If it's a copy, the value depends on just how good the actual maker was, but if sold online (where a prospective buyer can't try it out) I'd say 150 to 200 Euro tops.
