You've taken good care of this treasure. Congratulations.
Of all the classic A 'looks', that is the one that really floats my boat. There are many imitators these days, with the Eastman 604 and 804 coming pretty close (at least in terms of appearance) in my view, but the Gilchrist is a thing of great, great beauty. Thanks for sharing.

I do play it a lot, mainly at home or at jams, but I do look after it with TLC.
However the workmanship and tone after some 19 years is testimony to Steve Gilchrist's talents.
I'll probably see him next month and play a couple of tunes.
