    Default Kentucky M-800

    Hello all

I have been given a Kentucky "M-800" supposedly purchased some time in the 70's. I have been learning on it, and as my chops are a little sharper now i want to move on to something with a radial fretboard and a fuller sound. I have done some preliminary research and see that Kentuckys can run anywhere from 100-1500 dollars. I cannot however find anything about an "m-800" and i see that most kentuckys are labeled "KM-MODEL NUMBER", not "M-MODEL NUMBER". Does anyone have any info about the model and what i might get for a trade in value?

    Thanks

    Josh

You're probably looking at a KM-800. Is it possible the 'K' is just rubbed off? Here's some info on the KM-800:

It'll probably be worth more than $150

    Thanks for the response.

I don't know, it clearly looks like M-800 and the text is very bold, so i don't think a K wore off from it. The serial number is 8016 and it is made in japan if that helps. Thanks again,
