    Default Peg-head binding ledge.

I've finally got to this point. I set up my router table to do most of the job and it was a breeze and came out great. Now for that last 10% I'm having some trouble so I'm going to buy the Micro dog-leg chisels that I've heard are the best tools for finishing this job. Thought I'd share some photos of my progress so far. Here's my router setup using a regular 1/2" carbide straight bit and my modified body binding jig which I angled the nose of it to try to get the end cut.

If it's any help I've always done the scroll part with a Dremel kind of like doing inlay, only to the full depth of the overlay. Then I have to do a little hand work in the lower curve to account for the "lean" to match the angled peghead cut.

I thought about that and I like that idea but the cutters I use for inlay are such small bits. I got them from my dentist. Maybe I should take a ride to Lowes at lunch time and get a few more bits to try. Thanks Jim.
