    Default Collings MF5

I know the Collings MF5 has a mortice and tennon neck joint like the Weber Fern minus the screws. My question is do you really need the screws? If it works without them on the Collings , it should work on the Weber. Nick

The screws are there to hold the joint together while the glue dries. Once dry, the screws are totally unnecessary.
