The incense is usually lumps of gum. Check alternative food/medicine providers also. lots of plant resins show up in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Also, check any really old pharmacies if you have one that's been around from when they were also the corner Chemist's- I found Gum Tragacanth from 40 years ago at our local pharmacy- and they sold it to us at the original sticker price!
I have a 1 oz. jar that came from Woodworker's Supply. Their part number is 850-721, but I don't see it in their current catalog. Worth a call at least.
