Very nice! Who is the maker? It looks like those violin pegs have internal gears. I like the look of that with the violin scroll.

Interesting... it looks like the maker used a Washburn tailpiece. What kind of strings do you have on it? Also, the rosette looks fantastic. Do you have any closeups of that?

Very nice! Interesting sound hole design, I like how it has layers that recede into the body.

    Mr. Stavrakakis:
Are you the same person mentioned in this posting?

I share your view on Stelios's record. He is a great musician (and also a great luthier), and this record is very good. He was our guest in the Mandopolis Festival 2007, played with a great mandolinist from Creta called Mihalis Stavrakakis.
    And here:

On July 7th, Cretan music with Mihalis Stavrakakis, the best mandolin player from Creta. With Stelios Petrakis on lyra and lute, and Pericles Papapetropoulos on bulgari.

Is this you, ΜΙΧΑΛΗΣ? This is very exciting. I did not know you built mandolins.

Mihalis: that is a very beautiful mandolin. It is obvious you have built many others. Thank you for posting photos. We look forward to hearing some recordings or video or your playing it.
