You can even lay down a rythm track and play along with yourself.
Remember in the Buddy Holly Story, he asked to lay down a track and play along with himself like Les Paul.

Dang!!!! I just figured out that I don't have to use the mouse, you can use the keys on the keyboard to go down the scale. ; - a Or the number pad up top!!!

I just found out about the key combination myself, and was a bit bummed that I had no more time to play with it. But fret not! Google has decided to let the doodle up for another day! (they just tweeted about an hour ago http://twitter.com/#!/google)
