Just downloaded "The Expanded Pizza Tapes" off the new Acoustic Oasis site. A WINNER!
This is a must-own experience... especially for the banter and Jerry's amazing playing and ESPECIALLY his sweet, soulful singing. Damn do I miss that cat...

Just checking it out now- way way cool!
A friend turned me on to Pizza Tapes a long time ago and I learned a version of Shady Grove off of it. One thing though .. Jerry's vocals are a little rough but I still like it!
Checked out AC Oasis and I'm with Shaun that place is gonna cost me some money! LOL!
Dig the freebie today. Still figuring out how this site runs, but here's some interesting Tony Rice/Grisman chatter linked from this page as their free download: http://acousticoasis.com/living.html
The free download today is another good one: http://acousticoasis.com/kitchen.html
Little Sadie from the Extended Pizza Tapes http://acousticoasis.com/study.html
Don Stiernberg's Django from Mandolin Resaturant is the free download today at http://www.acousticoasis.com/vault2.html
I just downloaded the Bluegrass Quintet, Live from Japan.
VERY COOL!!! See my review elsewhere on the Cafe.......
I grabbed the Fran N Dawg the other day and totally love it (thanks for the nice review that got me to grab it SternART). My next purchase will be from the acoustic disc site, not oasis, which will be Back to Back Jethro and Tiny. I had the vinyl back in the day and played it to death. I haven't heard it in years and can't wait to grab it via down load, which makes things so much easier then waiting for the mail.

The past 4 album downloads I have purchased have been either from Acoustic Oasis or Acoustic Disc. I appreciate what David has done to give us access to great music. This will most likely be my next http://acousticoasis.com/rooms/barga...r-masters.html
