Just returned from a business trip to Tallahassee, FL where I had the pleasure of meeting Kyle Dunn from the Mando Shop. I live in Central FL and there are no mandolin shops of any merit. One of my instruments never seemed to play right, it always felt "tight" on the E & A courses. I contacted Kyle before going up and he responded quickly but with the news that he was leaving for NAMM and would only have Tuesday after 4:00 pm. After my meeting I met him around 5:00 - What a treat! His shop is beautiful as is his character. After examining my mandolin he diagnosed the problem (nut) and fixed it quickly. It now plays "like butter."

Kyle is an authentic and professional man. My only regret is I couldn't spend more time with him. If you are thinking about buying or having a set-up done I recommend his business without reservation.
