    Default Pocket Mando

I just picked this little pocket mandolin up the other day as something to leave out so I'd grab it more often than I do my mandolins in their cases. It by no means takes the place of my "real" mandolins, but its great for the couch or this summer camping (even though I will probably bring my real one). Anyways I thought I'd share a little tune on it. The craftsmanship is really nice and well worth the $100. Also I want to dedicate 2010 as the year I learn the fretboard and with this only having the first 7 frets Its a nice way to start breaking the fretboard down.

That sounded pretty good, playing and even across the strings. Something to consider against the $200+ travel mandolins.

It does sound pretty decent for one of these. I am just curious, who made it?

Ooh, I'd love one of those for roadtrips - where did you get it?
