I enjoy spending time with my wife. She is an amazing person.

FYI: Some of you may find this hard to believe, but I will not get a new instrument based on this post!

i guess work qualifies ... although when i'm home, i'm reading, mostly. and do household repairs for entertainment (I'm rebuilding a bathroom closet this weekend) and wander on the beach in the winter. the occasional rented movie. Mostly it's read, though.

I split my time between being a gym rat and my television addiction. Also play with my two year old quite a bit.

Family, with grandchildren. Man that's as good as it gets. Through in some photography www.photomark1.smugmug.com Add a little flower gardening and as of recently, MAS as i am getting my third mando with a arch top octave mando on the drawing board. The octave mando is going to be extra cool because it 's an archtop where most octaves are flat tops. The only problem with MAS is it's interfering with my DSLR acquisition syndrome. You ask, what kind of cameras so you buy, Cannon.

Between work and our toddler, spare time time is in short supply. When able I sail, care for the boat, cook, work on the house, hike or XC ski, bike a little, goof off on the web, and watch the occasional DVD. The list was longer only a few years ago.

After fitting in a full time job and lots of mandolin playing there's not a lot of time left but I fill what little there is by being a radio amateur and a St. John Ambulance volunteer.

    Work!

Then learn things about work (graphic and web design), paint and teach watercolor and in all the gaps, enjoy time with my family.

I camp a lot. In addition to "modern" camping, I live under white canvas a lot, as I go to Living History events, and rendezvous. I portray a NorthWest Company voyageur from the year 1794. I also portray a gentleman who represents a partner in the company. In the down time, I play keyboard in a praise band at church, read, study more history, epair equipment, drink a lot of coffee, and occasionally sleep.

Rock the baby, walk the dog, walk with the baby, feed the dog, dance with the baby, wash the dishes, change the baby, grade papers, rock the baby. Repeat as needed.

When I'm not playing with my beautiful 17-month old daughter (see profile pic) - I'm a rabid caver, I read, I go hiking or backpacking, and I'm getting into nature photography.
