Tuner button removal

Hi, I took the screws out but they are still stuck on there tight. Are they glued? Anyone know the proper way to get the buttons off Grovers?

..they are not glued..just a little more persuading should work...you could..if you are very careful...take a rag or something of that nature and cover the button and take a pair of pliers and gently work them off....

Worm gear off the instrumsent and removed from the plate and loose?
make a jig/a soft face tool or 2, made for the purpose out of wood for markless gripping.
then use the little hammer.
