Default The mandolin gold standard (Thile)

I was listening to the Chris Thile / David Grier concert that was recorded at the Prism in Charlottesville, Virginia again this morning. For some reason I just want to yell to someone, "WOW! Is there anything greater than this!" I just worship their musicianship.

    Thanks for letting me yell.

I've loved that show for years - long before I ever considered playing mandolin.

I think it took place in 2000 making him, what, 19 at the time? Ridiculous.

I can't wait until he eventually comes out with his Bach Mandolin album. I will buy multiple copies ... enough to last me until my long dirt nap.

I actually downloaded both discs 2 & 3 from phantasy tour a long time ago. As far as I know though disc 1 was never actually posted. I believe it may have been labeled somewhere, but when I downloaded it it was not disc 1, I think it was another copy of disc 2. Disc 2 & 3 are amazing, if any of you all find disc 1 please let us know. Thanks.
