Love that headstock inlay. Whole package is very clean.

Congratulations. Was that the one at Elderly? I was hoping that someone would buy it so I would stop looking at it

Thanks for the kind words folks but i think Tom Ellis deserves full credit.. Jamie the headstock is very cool, not to be repeated as it was very difficult to do.I am particularly fond of it as my Pa used to pinstripe Hot-Rods.. Hopefully Tom will chime in and tell us a little more about it.. for now i will await it's arrival..

Only Tom could pull off that inlay.

O.K. heres the rub. This little beast i think answers a lot of questions raised here on the cafe. You know what they are. Love it, no photo could ever do the headstock inlay justice. My search for guitar, mandolin combo is complete. Just a great mandolin.Thank you Tom Ellis.

Shaun ,Yep it's a J Walker Petty Creek Elite that i asked John to build for me with these specs. 12 fret....braz fretboard and bridge, Short scale,Top grade birdseye back 'n sides, tortoise binding. Master grade engleman top, mahogany neck with Waverlies..as we say in Australia, it's a Pearler.. These 2 instruments sing nicely together for my taste..
