D'Addario Strings

Just wanted to let everyone know what a stand-up company D'Addario is, I had a problem with breakage of an E string on the EXP74's...2 sets...I contacted them and they got back to me in less than an hour! I could not believe it, They shipped out new strings and they are on my Mando. and it is wonderful!

I wish every company would be as responsive to customers.
Keep on using D'Addario's!!

Did the breakage occur when playing, tuning, or putting on new strings? I,ve never had breakage probs with EXP74s. They'e my string of choice for tone, longevity and NO beakage. It is good to know that the company stood up when you needed them.

Yes D'addario and GHS both are very customer friendly companies and stand behind their products.

I would check the tuning gear if its breaking at that end or the tailpiece if the breakage is down that end for a sharp edge. I had the same issue and some needle files in the tunner hole to remove any burrs solved that problem. It was a little rough and it was causing the breakage...Mike
