I've seen and played this tenor guitar and, like all of Herb's instruments, it is superb. It is an archtop with a typical archtop sound and plays like butter. I have #173 a flat top tenor guitar built specifically for the GDAE tuning. Somewhere in this forum is a picture, etc if you are interested.

Herb is a genius luthier with multiple innovations in all of his instruments. He is easy to work with and will be at the O'Flaherty Retreat this year from October 25th through the weekend. If you are going, you have to play his instruments, but I warn you, bring money. Last year I played three of his tenor guitars (including this one) and walked away with the one I have.
