Converting wma File to mp3

This isn't really a forum software question, but a general application question that relates to forum usage. That is, does anyone know how to convert a wma file to mp3 so I can upload it to the message board? Barring that, is there an other way to do this? My rather clunky solution was to upload the song to my myspace page and include the link in my post, with the instruction to scroll down to the song. There's gotta be another way!

If one is on the Mac running OS X, there is a utility called "EasyWMA" that will do the job.

The list that Jamie gave me led to a free download that worked just fine, but thanks! I had no idea it would be that easy. Though I still would like to embed a sound file the way you can a video file, so if someone can tell me how to do that, I'll be all set!

You can't embed a MP3, however, you can add it like a photo you upload. When composing your reply, click Go Advanced and then click the paperclip for the upload manager. Browse to your MP3 and upload it. Your MP3 must be under 11MB.

Yep, that's how it looked alright. That's just fine. This stuff isn't that difficult, it just takes being told how and getting used to it. Just like inserting a link and embedding a video, the more I do it the easier it gets.

My Mac problem is that I cannot play the embedded mp3 file in the posts. No matter what proram I try, they always come out as html filesWhat am I missing?

Ok, how about Mac? I get that html problem, too, and don't see any setting to change...OS X, latest version.

d/l file to desktop. Then edit file name deleting the html. There may be an easier way but this worked for me.
