    Default Muth Two Point

Well, after a long year and a half wait I am a proud owner of a new mandolin from builder Larry Muth. This is his mandolin # 71 and the first ever two point.
It was a fun process with Larry sending construction photos as he went along. Some agonizing decisions had to be made, particularly in regard to finish options, hardware, etc. I am absolutely thrilled with the end result and have no regrets. Very cool looking mando. Thanks Larry !
Wonder where the other 70 are ? Muth owners out there ?

That is one fine looking mandolin there. The quilted back is just stunning! I have heard a lot of good things about Muth mandolins but I have not heard one.....so lets hear how that baby sings!

Wow. Wierd. I haven't been to the forum in a long time and the first thing I see is my resurrected thread.
Can't believe I missed my mandolin's first birthday. Thanks Wolfsong.

So how has the sound developed in this first year? Can you tell much difference?
    Thanks!

    Default 1 year soundclip delay

With the thread being 1 year old and no soundclips so far, you must have worked really hard to get that soundclip just right. IŽll be looking forward for it.

Hungry Hill from Canada has a Muth mandolin in the band. It sounds nice with a distinctive tone. Unlike a Lloar and entirely different when you play it than to when you hear it being played, but nice.
