    Default Lonesome River notation?

Hello everyone, can anyone help out with notation for Lonesome River, as sung by Bob Dylan and Ralph Stanley? I've kind of picked out, or around, most of it, and I'd like to try and fine tune it before I attempt a jam session on Sunday, my first with mandolin.

    cheers

    Gerry

The mandozine website has it in tabledit format in the key of E. You need to download the free tabledit viewer first to view the file. Once you have the viewer go to mandozine and click on "tabledit files", then search for your song. Download that to your computer and open in tabledit. You can switch between tab or standard notation. Hope this helps. John

I've got a tab of the mandolin intro and break as played by Pee Wee Lambert on the original Stanley Bros. recording (it's in the key of D by the way). Send me a PM if you want me to e-mail it to you.

Thanks Taurodent and Cooper. I've seen the tabledit recommended a few times now, I'll give it a try thanks. And thanks Cooper, I've sent pm.

    cheers
