    Default excaliber tool

Has anyone used the 22 tooth excaliber angle grinder wheel in roughing out the bottom plate?

I just used mine for the first time, and I think it's fantastic. I use it to rough cut the outsides of both top and back, and it is so much faster than anything else I've tried that there's really no comparison. It is also so much easier to over-cut and trash a plate that there's no comparison. That said, I'll definitely be using it from now on.

I've always used a 4" grinder with a 60 grit flap wheel to hog out the top and back. I think it breaks in the sound board at the same time with alot of vibrations. Quick and easy, but you better be careful not to slip or you get to start over. hehe
