Boy I sure would like to add one of these to my tool collection. Its a Borescope, a fiber optic device that lets you see inside things. Would be great for snooping around inside mandolin bodies.

They are available on ebay for as little as around $100. They definatley are helpful.

I have a very small USB camera I got on eBay for about $15.00. That and a flashlight let's me see inside almost every instrument I have.
