    Default Red Hot Chili Peppers

Anybody playing any RHCP on emando out there? I like to mess around with the material on Stadium Arcadium and get around on the Dani California, Snow, Desecration Smile, Stadium Arcadium and Hard to Concentrate, mostly. Some of the Californication and By the Way tunes are pretty accessible too, but I've pretty much stuck to the title tracks and Other Side.

I hadn't thought of adapting any Chili Peppers' stuff on mandolin, but now that you mention it, I think some of thier music might be kind of fun on mandolin. I just did a quick search on youtub hoping that someone might have given a Chili Pepper tune a treatment similar to stuff I've seen their from mandolinist covering the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Zep, and other rock tunes; but I found nothing except for this fun home video of some guys down in Brasil singing Dosed, backed by an acoustic guitar and mandolin -- and you gotta love the rooster intro.

"I could have lied" would be great on mandolin

Agree "I Could Have Lied" would be cool...working out a movable chord progression for "Breaking the Girl" would be pretty cool as well...I really like a lot of their stuff but haven't really thought about adapting it to emando (until now )

Just got a greatest hits cd of theirs, best I could get at the moment. Rockin tunes for sure, suited perfectly for Mando family instruments! Californiacation, Scar Tissue, perfect!
