    Default Martin Style 4

    Ebay 160283248356

If this is a Martin Style 4 then my Style 4 is really a Style 14.

So, how does one code a link into a word?

It's not even a Martin. Adding a link is pretty straight forward but changing the label on the link is a little odd.

Click on the little link/Earth icon above. You get a message input box to enter the link. Paste or type the link into the input box and click the OK Button. The code for your link will appear on the page with an area highlighted. That highlighted area is the label. If you simply start to type the label you want on the link it will replace what is highlighted on your message. By default it uses the actually address for your link as the label.

I reported this sale to ebay as you're not allowed to list a brand name in the title unless you're actually selling that brand. I learned this the hard way having listed some tuners that were copies of Klusons as "Kluson-type tuners". Someone must have complained because ebay jerked my sale because of "brand name spamming".

    Condition:
    Good Condition
One of the top strings are missing
The back has been repaired. Although close-up one could see where the repairs have been made, but it is not very apparent
There is a crack on the front below the black, floral design
Please see all photos and ask any questions prior to bidding

And the top is separating from the bowl, there's a major crack down the front, the tailpiece is majorly corroded, and it's not a Martin.

    Otherwise, it's a gem.

The seller emailed me with a thanks for my input. They have pulled the item and will relist without references to Martin or Style 4.

I got a similar response from the seller to my note. It was a nice and seemingly sincere letter.

Just the same, I would love to see a nice Martin style 4 grace our collective doorstep......
