    I was looking at the picture collage in the F5 Journal that is accessed from the Homepage.

    This instrument surely became famous by being played by Mr Monroe for 45 years or more. #When the instrument was vandalized, I wonder if the culprit would have guessed that it would play again and have a part in making Mr Derrington famous for the repair work that he did on it.

    I never met Charlie Derrington, but he is missed by our community. #A couple of years ago he had a photo in a post here and I asked (joking) "Is that a Gibson Charlie is holding?" #"Of course it is!" #he answered and went on to tell which Gibson it was. #He had a good sense of humour and took the time to be informative and helpful here in the Cafe.
