What brand of tuners are on Gibson mandolins being made at the present time?

Last time I heard they were still using some modified Grovers; 18:1 ratio. My last new Gibson Fern (2 yrs) has a set with genuine MOP buttons. I expect Waverly tuners are still used on the Master Models.

If they look like the picture below they are Gibson Grovers. They come in gold and silver. They are made for Gibson only. Unless something has recently changed they should still be using these tuners.

Thats what they look like. I just got a Gold Rush, and danged if I didn't break a tuner button. MOP, too. It super glued back together again, but I'd like to get a spare button. Many thanks, boys.

Contact Danny Roberts at Gibson. I may still have his e-mail address if you need it. I lost one of the screws that holds the buttons on last year at Windgap and he was kind enough to mail a few to me.
