I like the pickup cover, it looks like it was the dash surround on a car radio.

An electric Regal "Octophone"?!

Anyone know if the buttons on klusons are easily replaceable?
Hereby & forthwith, any instrument with an odd number of strings shall be considered broken. With regard to mix levels, usually the best approach is treating the mandolin the same as a cowbell.

Was wondering why there seems to be a plenty of of the Black Trinity OMs on ebay but the natural finish ones are a lot harder to come by (the 325 model that is)
bahama, this thread is for discussing electric mandolins on eBay. You might want to start a new thread for your question, since it isn't about an electric instrument.

There isn't a direct replacement because the original pickup is either a four or five string bass pickup which is larger than an Almuse. The bass pickup, in my opinion, is too mellow for the mandolin. The two options are to either retrofit a new pickup ring or see if Pete will make a pickup that will fit the existing ring. I'd guess that the solution is to make a new pickup ring or better yet simply design a new pickguard that would cover the pickup and the knobs. This would give you more room to add a switch comfortably too.
Here is one that is "set up to play in all keys", a Tom Lewis special.......

Looks interesting, but don't trust someone from Framus-land to tell you what constitutes a "very high quality" e-mando.

Boogie Body 4-string:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOOGIE-BODY-...item3cc9d5eac8
Not much info ... and the seller is not in a talkative mood tonight ... but Boogie Body was operated by Lee Ellsworth in Puyallup, Wash. Appears to have been both a parts supplier and a luthier; Eddie Van Halen's famous red guitar reportedly includes some Boogie Body parts. This looks like a one-off mandolin with some typical mistakes (9th fret marker, knobs right in the way of your right hand). I continue to doubt that one-offs like this are worth the exorbitant sum the seller seems to want.

NOS? Ovation Mandocello
I've never seen the "epaulettes" look like that before, without the "lines" for the "feathers". It's not unattractive, but for $2.5K it seems kinda curious.
