Help converting string gauge from mm

Can someone help convert these string gauges

E = 0.25mm
A = 0.36mm
D = 0.53mm
G = 0.80mm

These are bogus.

1 inch = 254 mm. A string that is only 0.25mm wide would therefore be 1/1016 of an inch wide, or 0.00098" -- about as thick as a couple of strands of human hair.

If these were in inches and divided by 10 (.080, etc.), they'd be close to mandocello gauges.

I had a feeling but I wasn't sure. I first tried using one of those on line conversion calculators, but I wasn't coming up with anything that resembled a familiar string gauge.

I'm trying to determine what string gauges the Lenzner Consort set has. There is no information on the package, but it is listed at the bottom of this webpage as

Lenzner 'Consort':

E = 0.25(5) mm.

A = 0.36(5) mm.

D = 0.53 mm.

G = 0.80 mm.

Whoops! That's what I get for trying to do math before I drink my coffee.

So then, divide each value by 25.4 and you'll have your answer in inches:

G: .0315
D: .021
A: .014
E: .010
