Today our bass player, Jim Gregory, passed on to a better place. Jim was diagnosed with Leukemia a couple of months ago. We will miss him. I'll miss Jim yelling at me, to slow down, when I take my breaks. He was a good man.

Sorry, I just felt like telling someone.

    Doug,

I'm sorry. I'm sure I'll grieve with you sometime in my dreams tonight, even though I didn't know your friend. A sad time, but please remember it's sad because your relationship was evidently a great joy. Something to be thankful for. I guess and believe that it all equals out in some sort of way. You must have had a wonderful friend.

    Prayers for you Doug.

Sorry to hear that Doug and actually its fine that you mentioned it. We all need to be reminded frequently how lucky we are to have a good day, or a day go by without some sadness, or just to wakeup in the morning.

These things are not givens -- I think life is more appreciated if we keep in mind that it is a gift after all.

Hey Doug. So sorry to hear of your loss, and thanks for posting. It's great to share the joys and sorrows of life with friends. I sent you an email tonight, no hurry in getting back to me. I'll look forward to connecting with you and your community, and hopefully some healing music too, in a couple of weeks here.
