Well I am certain I'll need a lesson with an instructor towards the end of this year or early next. Anyone here in the midwest, and willing for a one on one lesson in the future. I'll pay what I need for a good source of direction. I'm currently working through the Bickford mandolin method. Anyone, Anyone, Bueller, Bueller. Thanks all email me or post here thanks John

Here is the list from the CMSA. Most of these folks are prob more classically oriented.

There is also the list of Mandolin Cafe Instructors. You could also place a student looking for instructor ad there.

Maybe some one else knows of specific folks in your area.

    Good luck.

    Jim

I was actually hoping to meet up with someone who frequents this board. At least as a first choice. Thanks for the links Jim that Vega is playing great. John

Mikail Litvin teaches at the Wisconsin COnservatory of Music in Milwaukee. He is newly here from Belarus (Minsk) and is a very good teacher and a fine human being. I took leasons from him and they were very rewarding. Technique, technique, techinque. Especailly right hand. Also big on the duo method.

Thanks Mike I'll look into that. It is a long haul from Sioux Falls to that area. Thanks John
