So I got chance to hear this new recording by Luke McKnight (Jesse McReynold's grandson) called Leader Of The Band and it is excellent! You can really hear Jim's influence on his mandolin playing (read lots of cross-picking) and his vocal style. There's even a couple of enjoyable rock 'n oll cover tunes.
