    Hey Everybody,
    Just wanted to let you all I set up an account with YouTube recently and have uploaded several videos so far. one with me playing with Lorraine Jordan and Carolina Road, and one with Matt Flinner and a few by myself. So please check em out, search for David Watson, Bluegrass, Music, Mandolin ect... and they should come up. Let me know what you think.

    I do play a Collings MT and I love it
    I am 14 and have been playing about two yrs now, so my bio is a little out dated. please rate and leave comments if possible

    Good job David.... your 14 and been playing two years? makes us "older" folks a little bit jealous

    Tell me, do you learn by ear, play in jams a lot, pracitce for hours and hours a day... howdya get so good so quickly?

    Never be surprised at what children can do! I teach third grade mallet kids who can play "Hoedown" by Aaron Copland.

    Great job David! I wish you were one of my students, but you're a bit too old for the ones I teach! Keep up the good work.

    David, if you listen really close to the backup rhythm Matt was playing, or like Chris Thile plays, and then do that too, you'll be in business. In the meantime, a little practice isn't a bad thing

    I'm very impressed with your economy of motion, and tried incorporating it during this evening's practice session, to good effect. Thanks!

    Very nice stuff David. They say that Collings mandolins are consistent, but if that is so, why won't mine go as fast as yours?
