    Hey,
Is there anyone out there in the Richmond/ Charlottesville/ Central VA area who wants to jam with a beginner to intermediate level tenor banjo player? I've been playing about a year and a half. I'm interested in a wide variety of styles, including old-time, celtic, jug band, Americana and ragtime, as well as attempting covers of non-traditional material such as Grateful Dead, Ween, etc. Email me at lannyfields "at" hotmail.com if interested.

Go upstairs to Janke Road Baptist Church on January 8th. There will be about a dozen old-time pickers and you'll fit right in! They'll be playing old-time music. I'll be playing my mandolin.
