Just wanted to add a note about Mr. Paul's work.
I bought an F100 custom about 5 years ago after a long search for a mandolin that spoke to me.
Saturday a week ago, I got to visit with Paul, see the shop and talk mandolin for awhile. I left the mandolin with him for fret job and to go over the mandolin sorta like a tune up.
Last Saturday, I went to pick up the mandolin and was very impressed with the fret work. Very clean and the action and intonation was perfect.
If your in the market for a new mandolin or need some work done, you can't go wrong dealing with Paul.
    I'm one very pleased customer.

This section is for threads about the details of building mandolin family instruments. For reviews such as yours, the section of choice is "Looking for information about mandolins".

    "Builders / Repair
Discussions for those with an interest in the construction and repair of mandolin family instruments"

Looks like it's okay in this thread...but who really cares? #Dave must not have got his hug this morning.

I can see why it was posted here, but more people with an interest in the OP's post will see it in the Looking for Info section.

Nod generally this section is about repair questions, although I don't think it is necessarily OOP. More exposure would be in the LFI section, certainly.

    Kevin,
Thanks for taking the time to acknowledge a job well done. As an aspiring luthier myself, I hope to be able to get this kind of feedback myself someday.
