The power of acoustic

hi folks..long time no hear and all that..first of all..I am illiterate...now, on with it..

so we played this beaujolais party last night at the St Pete Fine Arts Museum, in what they call the "Marley Room"..nice banquet room with a nice stage and all that...well, the whole block of downtown st pete LOST POWER....light out everybody...well , this happened RIGHT AT 7:00 - just as the doors were opening. #I had some LED lights on goosenecks...you can get them at Target for $2.00...and they go forever..better than a "music stand light"...the room had great acoustics and they folks stuck around and we played on for an hour with no electric/ no amps...kinda felt like the musicians on the Titanic, but not as drastic of course..when the lights came back on ,,,it was obviously a happy moment, everyone applaudded, and we took a break and sampled some wine ourselves..later we joked that it could have been a museum heist...that wouldnt be that funny though..

After drinking Beaujolais Nouveau I always feel like I have gone down with the Titanic.

On Thursday, we opened up a case at work (we did wait till lunchtime). Have to say I found it even harsher than usual, I must be getting old.
